peanutbutterdynamite ..most everything on the internet does die out eventually, especially when something new comes along, but that shouldn't mean that it shouldn't be used to its full potential while it exists. Especially something so simple and fun as twitter ..few other social networking sites are this quick to get involved in and require so little of your time :-)

I started using Twitter recently. One of the pluses for me is that both facebook and flickr link to Twitter so all my posts can easily become tweets with a single click. It seemed like a waste to not take advantage of the free social marketing opportunity. I don't think I'm taking full advantage of the site yet, but I'll get there. Feel free to follow me!

I use Twitter the way it was intended when it was created - as a classic chat room. In other words I just log in and start chattering about anything that pops into my head - the weathers, my cats, my latest project, music I'm listening too, movies I'm watching, hopes, dreams, desires, etc.

No matter when I am online there is always dozens of random strangers also online talking about the same things I'm talking about at that moment. I daily end up having conversations with absolute total strangers, lol!

I end up talking about weird random nothingness with strangers and have made several friends out of it. I don't think of Twitter as a marketing tool. I think of it as a place to unwind and take a load of stress off, by just talking with any one willing to listen to me. In other words, I use it as it's category says it is: for social networking.

I joined less than a year ago and now have nearly 3,000 followers. I do not seek out followers, I simply follow back those whom followed me first.

Love Twitter! I usually chat more than anything. There are a lot of local sellers I've met and thats how I stay in contact with them. I do throw in a promo here and there and have gotten quite a few sales from it.

I have twitter @lareese23
I THINK it is actually very simple... I think you just make posts and to "reply" you just simply post on that person's twitter.
I have heard to post interesting links -people love that. Don't constantly tweet to promote
I'm not really successful though.....

I use my twitter as a sort of 'breaking news' what are we doing next, or what is happening now~ on my website, (thefiligree.com) you can see it says 'breaking news' so instead of using it about me, I use it about our stuff~

Same as "thefiligree" ... we use twitter as we have update or need to communicate important information to those who are interested... If you're using our free advertising at www.tools4etsy.com, we keep you up to date through twitter...

I tweet. I skim through new posts about once a day but mostly use my tweet account to promote new items from my Etsy store and from my website.

I just started my Twitter account yesterday. I'm not I will gain anything from it, but it can't hurt to try. I have a posting in the promo section if you want to trade Twitter links.
