Etsy admin--a slap in the face of sellers?

Sounds harsh--sorry, but really admin you do rely on us heavily to flag and research re-sellers and provide you with proof in the way of pics, links, sites, wholesalers, etc.
So we do it and it takes time. I dream about leather jewelry now, I swear--weird drems that are like nightmares.
Now even buyers are starting to get fed up and post in the forums, and do their own research and post in the off site blog.
It seems like a slap in our faces, if you expect us to do this for you, but never address the issues: like, when is something going to be done?
What's going to be done?
I am amazed how re-sellers seem to be taking over this place. all you have to do is check the time machine once a day and you will find someone up to no good.
We have enough competition already without having to fight these re-sellers for views, sales, etc. How can we compete when they price sooooo low because their labor and materials are so much cheaper?
Etsy's "homemadeness" is really starting to take a hit.
So what do ya say, etsy?
(no haters please) I am calm tonight and off to do something.

are we willing to pay higher fees?
the more sellers begged ebay to cover more bases, the more the fees went up.
now the fees are figured by crazy equations.
i would rather they keep less hands on and remain economical. i will try to jump the consequences.
etsy has become rather vast. knowing how hard it is for me to get all the work i need to do done...i can only imagine what goes on at etsy.
i think too many of us sit at our screens and lose sight of the vastness of the etsy community.
*please don't hit me too hard*

Where did I put that wet noodle?

I've been rseeing a lot of posts like this. Can someone give me an example of what kind of items people are reselling? I don't know if I have ever noticed it or not. Thanks.

glittercritter,
Multiple choice
a) I enjoy torturing myself
b) I want to join the bleeding heart club
c) I don't think I've ever reported a reseller and want to try at least once.
You choose. :)
*meant in fun, not rude or nasty, just silly but still really want to see a reseller and report them*

I'm no help, the problems I see in my main category are bad tagging rather than resellers, but I need to tell you how much I love your avatar, KidAtHeart.

Resellers make me laugh at this point.
They list 100 items every dang weekend and yet *my* shop gets called out - - unreal.
