HI FELLOW ETSY-ERS :)
Can someone please critique my shop?
I just started this shop in September, but I'm still adjusting all aspects: prices, shipping costs, style, photos and would really appreciate some feedback on how I'm doing and how to increase my views and hopefully make a sale :) Also, what do you think of my hand made products????
Please, Please, Please!!! Million thanks :)
Hugs,
Kat

I love your shop! The one thing I would suggest if you haven't already done so is to make sure your tags say "wedding" and "crystals". The photos are for the most part lovely 'cept for a few blurrs. I get alot of mention about my own photos and some say one thing and some say another so I'm still searching for the happy middle. My views are great compared to my sales! Thank you for the hugs and shooting them right back to you wishing you much success!

Holy Margaret of Anjou! Oh wow, this pendant is phenomenal Sky!!!
Thank you for your feedback and quick reply :)
If I may suggest something... Your work is gorgeous, but I think your backgrounds are sometimes too dark or busy and take away from the amazing detailing in your pieces!
Did you ever try lighter backgrounds? I mean your lighter Margaret of Anjou picture really shows off your piece's details, it was also the first thumbnail that caught my eye :)
Just my opinion...
Have a wonderful day Sky!

Lovely items! I agree, some of the pictures, like this one www.etsy.com/listing/57615936/beautiful-weaved-sterling-silver-and are a little blurred. Do you use a tripod? Also, if you're close up, check the settings on your camera.
Be sure to tag all your items with colours, often people are searching for particular colours--I almost missed out on finding an item I was looking for because the seller did not tag any of her items with colours. Luckily for her, she just happened to show up in my suggested favorites!
Be careful tagging with words like wedding, if it is not specifically for a wedding but *could* be used in one (although it could be used for other times as well) that would be considered a possible use, and could get you flagged for mistagging. By specifically for wedding: invitations, bridal veils, wedding guest books, wedding dress, etc.
Often, I see jewellery tagged with wedding that usually wouldn't be worn IN a wedding, but for a wedding and would often be used for everyday wear too, so those items could be considered mistagged and flagged.

Thanks CrochetSal :)
I will definitely revise my wedding tags! It's just that find that more and more, people find themselves diverging from the traditional white/ ivory wedding colours. Most of my clients actually ask for bright colours to accent their looks or match their flowers/decor!
I did not know I could get flagged for it :S
Many thanks again :)!!!
Hugs.
