Mass producers and resellers .... where do I/we fit in as a OOAK artisan

Original Post
Third time tonight .... though the thread will be shorter than the last two started. I haven't provided links, hence it shouldn't be closed post haste
Thread 1
One more time .... the other thread with title was closed, as I knew it would be because it questions the EA policy of resellers and mass producers (who with out a doubt provide dosh for EA)
On my last thread I stated on P2 poor Lisajune would have to close my thread, and sadly she did with this statement.

Hi McIsaacArt, I definitely hear your frustration.
The admin who curate the site definitely take measures to avoid featuring shops and listings that don't comply with our Terms of Use. Their continual frustration too lies in the understanding that shops that don't comply with our Terms of Use, should not be open for sale on the site.
We're still looking for a perfect way to without error maintain the integrity of our marketplace; and in the meantime we very much appreciate your help flagging listings you suspect may be outside of our Terms of Use.
That said, one of the intention behind our move to expand profiles, is so that people are able to provide more information about their businesses and buyers can know more about who they're buying from. We want you to know who you're buying from and feel confident that there's is a business that you feel comfortable supporting. Many buyers come here specifically looking for one of a kind items, there will always be a strong one of a kind community on Etsy.

=================
I appreciate your statement, I do not appreciate the thread being closed. There was no call out of any reseller or mass producer. This was a pure business discussion regarding the Etsy site and promotions that has for me been an ongoing issue for years now, and quite frankly one I don't understand. Additionally, I am not a lone client not comprehending this constant promotion of resellers and mass producers.
I will not disappear into the mists of nowhere, I do want an intelligent and logical response as to why these folk continue to percolate through Etsy making oodles of dosh at the expense of OOAK clients for EA.
Further more I am not saying you personally are not intelligent or logical, my questioning goes directly to Etsy Management and their processes and rules regarding this issue.
Thank you

And, since this is a discussion about what we'd like the site to be, I am going to move this to Ideas. :)

Really what we think the site should be .... I thought for some reason this venue was OOAK, handmade and vintage .... not resellers and mass producers. You want me to start this thread all over again two layers up so that it is not an idea? I will.

I was tempted to report the response but decided not to

This one is going to get closed also because you quoted from a closed thread! Maybe just bring up the subject again without quoting from other threads? I hear you and agree - but there is a way to bring attention to this matter without starting threads that will be closed!!

Totally a valid question and viable concern, especially as Etsy doesn't seem to know what Etsy is anymore. Amen, OP.

And if I do so be it .... I can be muted here but not off site, I haven't done anything but be concerned about the 80 - 90% Etsy client base, I haven't trashed anyone. I am simply asking what is going on.

It'll be closed because "the beatings will continue until morale improves".
Duh.

Those resellers make them tons of cash, so they are not in any kind of hurry to get rid of them.

It's bad enough having to walk around, say, Target, and looking at all the mass produced scarves and hats and jewelry and shoes and whatever, and looking at the prices, and realizing your one of a kind items which are so much cooler but are priced so much higher are in this kind of competitive market. And then you go to Etsy, and confront some of the same stuff. It's sad.
