This is a fun cute costume jewelry piece and is not a solid silver or solid gold (or else i'd charge a little more ;) ! )...so please keep it dry or it may loose the shiny finish. If it does it looks like a rubbed brass. It will tarnish to a brass color with wear as its a covered metal finish.
