This sweet shadow box assemblage features three pretty maids in a row, handcrafted with antique German doll head remnants dug from the earth surrounding the old doll factories Limbach, Thurginia, Germany and are circa 1880. The are embedded in and surrounded by handcrafted roses made from the "wood" of the tapioca plant which is more commonly know as sola.
Other materials used to create this mixed media assemblage are art plaster (a very hard plaster), wood and metal letters. The shadow box is hand distressed as are the letters that spell out the sentiment "Bloom".
This piece measures 8.25" X 5.25" and is gallery wired for hanging.
It is lovely for those decorating in a shabby chic or cottage chic style. Also a wonderful gift for a loved gardener.
