Precious little dresser set from the twenties. Made of lathe-turned wood painted in typical Deco-era colorway of black and coral. Most likely made in Czechoslovakia or eastern Europe. Two pieces- taller footed pedestal jar and little round pot, both with lids and tiny wool and silk powder puffs. Round pot still has rouge. I imagine the young ingenue flapper girl in her tiny NY apartment putting on that last little dab on her cheeks before she's out the door destined for some speakeasy to dance the night away (the Charleston, of course)!
taller piece is 4.25", smaller is 2"
condition is very good (one lid had a few chips which I touched up)
