This listing is for the brown and yellow mudge pictured in the second and third photos.

The "mudge," a funny wee brown with wide, curious eyes and a pointy tail, is the product of a storytelling collaboration between myself and writer Tim Sevenhuysen of fiftywordstories.com. I've made a cast of colourful felt creatures, and Tim has written delightful, whimsical stories about their adventures. Mudges features in the first of these stories, Leon Meets a Mudge:

--------------------
Leon the dragon was sitting on the riverbank, dipping his toes in the water and sighing to himself, when he saw a little roly poly black mudge hop up beside him and lean over to take a drink.

"Hello, little mudge," said Leon.

"Yikes!" said the mudge. "A dragon!" It turned around and starting hopping away as fast as it could.

"Wait!" said Leon. "I'm not going to hurt you! I'm a nice dragon."

The mudge stopped hopping. "Are you sure?" it said.
--------------------

You can read the rest of the tale here, http://t.co/Aul4mxU, and enjoy many more of Tim's stories and projects on his website: http://timsevenhuysen.com/

The mudge stands 2 1/2 tall from base to tail-tip, and his tail contains a bit of pipe cleaner to make it bendable. It is entirely hand stitched from felt, with needle felted details in Corriedale wool, and is stuffed with polyester fibers.
