I really got into the spirit of the ill-fated French queen when I made this! Imagining what she would have housed her trinkets in and using the duck-egg colour of the box I used a beautiful vintage lace to wrap around. I then stencilled and painted the top and added an image of her with a gorgeous gold tone metal fan and a birdcage to embelliish. The front side has a fuschia pink feather and an antiqued key. There are pink and blue pearls for an extra touch of luxury... Tres belle!!
