Each magnet recreates the dialog box as it appeared in Final Fantasy III for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System back in 1995, and the attention to detail is appropriate for someone who has been staring at these pixels for nearly twenty years! The dialog box shape and border match the source measurements perfectly. The text—those wonderful Woolseyisms—are not only set consistently with the originals, the line breaks are even exactly where they belong! There's also a very gently marked drop shadow to complete the recreation.
The default set of quotes for this listing are the four Kefka quotes as shown in the second photograph.
This is NOT just a print! This slice of coated white acrylic is 1/8" thick and measures 1" tall by 3 1/3" wide. The text and border are etched out of the blue surface coat and a subtle drop shadow is marked in to complement them. A sturdy magnet is attached to the back.
The result is one part typography and several parts game nostalgia.
You'll notice in the photography that there are several other Final Fantasy III dialog boxes ready to be made. If you're interested in building a set of four dialog boxes from others featured in the photography above—or the photography for the single magnet listing—let me know when you order! Otherwise, I'll be sending you Kefka's set as shown above.
