This is a lovely vintage silver plate tea set, made by Tiffany & Co. Makers for The Rock Hotel! The Rock is a hotel located on the Strait of Gibraltar, which opened in 1932. This tea set is definitely from the early days of the hotel, and is in amazing condition for a hotel piece of its age, with few signs of use & wear and no dents or damage. The original bone insulators are still present on the handle of the tea pot, the handle has a tiny wobble but is still firmly attached to the pot so I assume this is just due to the slight shrinkage of the bone insulators over time. Each piece is marked Tiffany & Co. Makers Silver Plated on the base, and each piece is also marked with its capacity in "gills"
The tea pot measures approx. 7.5" tall, the lidded sugar 3.25" tall and the creamer 2.75" tall.
