This custom sized gown features a triangle top and racer back with long braided straps that wrap around the waist to create the perfect fit. The skirt is a Princess Cut - flared at the bottom for maximum drama and flow!
Purchaser, please have each maid complete the measurement chart attached to this listing (photo #2) and include the following items:
Bust, Underbust, Waist, Underbust to desired hem length. Bra and cup size are also beneficial to determine a specific width for the straps. Typical strap width is 9-11" wide. Please indicate if you have a special preference on this width. Extra wide straps may require additional charge.
Please note that the bust size for the torso piece is calculated using the underbust measurement and factoring in the amount of stretch in the fabric. Torsos are typically constructed using a single seam in the back of the dress, but will sometimes be constructed with a single seam on either side of the garment depending on the type/weight/stretch/grain of the fabric. The torso of the dress is designed to fit over the bust for coverage only, and is NOT intended to hold the dress up by itself. The convertible straps are intended to create the desired shape of the neckline, waist, sleeve of the dress and will support the weight of the dress when fully tied. The height of the torso is determined using the following measurement chart:
A,B cup: 6" from top of bust to underbust
C,D cup: 7" from top of bust to underbust
DD+ cup: 8" -9" from top of bust to underbust
** an additional charge of $20 applies if customer requests an extra-wide fold-over torso which ranges from 10"-20" and is made to order**
Full length is a general term to describe the length of skirt that is measured from the underbust to desired hem. PLEASE include heel height in this measurement if you plan on wearing heels. My Princess cut skirts on the Glam Gown offers an alternative to the traditional A-line shape of our regular Slim/column dress. Princess gowns are wonderful options for all body types and shapes. Full Princess cut indicates a maxi skirt that is fitted toward the waist and flares dramatically at the hem. The princess line dress cut is the most dramatic variation of the A-line dress. The style highlights the bodice portion of the dress and produces a slimming effect because these flared panels draw an observer's eye lengthwise down the seams of the dress. We make all of our dresses in custom lengths - you'll never have trouble finding a dress that is "long enough" again!
Please include correct shipping address when you complete payment and add notes for any special requests/questions at the time of checkout. Client has received samples of the fabric that will be used for the dresses and has chosen the fabric based on the colors and samples presented. Client agrees to purchase the listing in advance of fabric being purchased for this order. Minor alterations are included in the cost of this listing. Minor alterations include adjustment of bust/torso for better fit, shortened hem, and shortened straps. Additional alterations may incur a re-design fee to be agreed upon before work commences.
Shipping cost is estimated for shipping via USPS Priority 2-3 day delivery. Cost is based on combined shipping to a single location, reducing the shipping amount to $8.95 per dress. If each dress needs to be shipped to a separate location, please estimate $10.95 per item and indicate this at the time of checkout so the shipping cost can be amended.
Seller will be available for consultation regarding "how to wear" the convertible/infinity style dress and will provide both photos and video tutorials on different options. Purchaser may request a "skype" session to show different tying methods - these requests will be approved at the discretion of the shop owner's schedule.
