seedpods started out as a design i painted by hand directly onto a screen, inspired by a lino cut i carved months before. it became so popular that i needed to have a screen professionally printed as my homemade one was degrading from too much use. the new seedpod screen has much cleaner lines than the original and i was able to tweak the placement of the pods a bit - it is now my very favourite print! pods are each approximately 3.5cm (1.5") wide.screenprinted with great care in my wee studio, there may be very slight variations in the design but, if present, these will be minor and are part of the natural charm of handprinted fabric.

custom mixed, solvent free ink in overcast (a soft bluey greeny grey) on offwhite quilting weight cotton basecloth. premium quality 100% cotton, beautifully soft and smooth and may shrink slightly. wash in cold and hang dry or tumble dryer on low, iron on either side.
