This would be great as second phone or for your retro decor--and also a wonderful photo prop!
The phone has a thermoplastic body with a heavy bakelite handset. It has a curving Art Deco shape and wide base with vents in back--a spectacular design. It's been refitted with a new plug and a 24 foot cord, which will plug into a standard wall jack. The rest appears to be all original, including the silver metal circle in the middle that has an Art Deco place for a room number (very faint) covered with plastic.
The phone is working great. It has a wonderful old mechanical ring and the sound through it is good. The body of the phone is in excellent condition, with a few minor scuff marks, no cracks, and a gleaming black finish. On the back of the base, it's marked North Electric, Patented U.S.A. The bottom is marked 3-H4 G-D, 30 cycle ringer
Size: The base is 7 3/4 x 5 3/8 inches (19.7 x 13.7 cm). Height to the top of the handset is about 5 1/2 inches (14 cm).
