The faux leather has subtle texture that gives it a realistic leather-look and a metallic sheen that is both soft and glamorous. You get the look of metal with the comfort of leather! The cuff is double-sided - one side is copper, the other is gold (two laser-cut pieces are sandwiched together for extra strength) - giving you two cuffs in one! The intricate geometric design is precision-cut by laser, creating a stunning latticework effect.
I reproduced this design by computer, inspired by geometric designs ubiquitous in Islamic art and architecture around the world, particularly the living artisanal tradition of zellij tilework in Morocco. Starting from one center point, the design grows mathematically into circles, squares, and complex stars that interconnect and extend to infinite, representing the unity and interconnectedness of all existence. While these designs are rooted in age-old tradition, the message speaks of universality and transcendence, and the bold, graphic lines are both modern and timeless.
Current LEAD TIME for shipping this cuff is 2 weeks.
Geometry, metallic cuffs, and laser-cutting are major trends right now, and this piece combines all three with a rich and worldly artistic heritage, creating the perfect balance of tradition and modernity for the worldly, eclectic woman.
Two metal snaps make the cuff very easy to put on. The cuff measures 2 3/8" wide and 7 1/2" in circumference when snapped. This item is ready to ship.
