The square patch blocks and borders are all pieced together by machine. There are six squares that I see, that have been pieced together to form a square, which was quite common in days gone by, as every little tiny piece of fabric was used. Great vintage fabrics and some are feedsacks and flour sacks from the 30's and 40's. I believe all of the fabrics are cotton. The colors are vibrant and bright. The fabrics are all prints, one plaid square and dots which are all framed in a red polka dot border. Wide variety of colors in this quilt top.
The quilt top is in excellent condition and is clean with no spots, stains, disclorations, rips, tears or holes.
This quilt top is ready to be put together with batting and a backing and quilted or tied and will make into a very nice charming vintage baby quilt for a throw in the stroller or baby carrier, doll quilt, a darling cottage table runner or table topper, wall hanging, or can be used as fabric to make other sewing or craft projects such as pillows, garments, stuffed animals, etc. or use as is, just for display!
This is a quilt top only.
