I love to explore abandoned houses. One time I found one that dated back to 1914, it was amazing. I found a small pile of buttons in the upstairs bedroom that was almost impossible to get to. It was like an obstacle course of fallen beams and large open holes that went all the way to the first floor! But I love that stuff, haha, so It was worth it :D
Four antique buttons rest on a tiny piece of green toile fabric inside this little button house. A piece of vintage dictionary paper lines the back with a partial definition of the word "button". You will notice some of the little buttons still hold tightly to their original thread (and dirt) as they forever rest safely in this small shadowbox glass house that I built. I only have less than a handful of buttons left, so pieces like this won't be available much longer :(
