One vase surface features a vertical motif of 3 fish alternating with 3 water lilies. The opposite side features a water lily floating on the water with the sun up above, and a single fish appears deep below the water's surface.
Alternate rows of the silver fish scales are dimensional (raised), as is the mouth and eye of each fish. The round dots appearing in the water lily motifs are raised, as are the two leaves appearing beneath the water lily on the single lily side of the vase.
Appearing solid color in most light, the very dark brown glaze contains a metallic gunmetal element which adds a subtle sheen and reflective variation to the glaze, complementing the metallic silver decoration.

From what I find, this particular Gustavsberg mark was used on pieces produced between 1940-1970. The word Gustavsberg circles over the traditional anchor image, and there is a rope entwined on the anchor. Later marks no longer used the roped anchor. The vase is also marked Facettt, 5, and Made In Sweden.
The vase is in very good condition, with no chips or cracks to the vase. There are two very small (pin head size) glaze pops on the vase opening.
There are some very light and tiny glaze surface scratches close to the bottom edge and to the lower left side of the front panel, with one being longer in that area. Each can be spotted only when the light reflects on that surface at just the proper angle. There is also a series of similar light and tiny glaze surface scratches on the curved side of the vase, just to the left and close to the top of the flat front panel. Again, the light must reflect properly in order to see these.
This vase will be double boxed, insured, and the package will require signature confirmation upon delivery for US customers. Signature Confirmation will also required (because of value) for International shipping, which will increase the shipping cost.
