Hubble Space Telescope image that inspired this colorway:
The Dumbbell Nebula, a nearby planetary nebula residing more than 1,200 light-years away, is the result of an old star that has shed its outer layers in a glowing display of color. The nebula, also known as M27, was the first planetary nebula ever discovered. French astronomer Charles Messier spotted it in 1764. Glowing "sparks" of gas from a dying star look like they're streaking through space. The dense "sparks", which form in the early stages of a planetary nebula, each contain as much mass as three Earths.

This colorway is available as a custom order. Note that all my yarns are hand-dyed and no two skeins are the same, despite similarities.
This item is multi-colored butter yellow, sky blue, and lavender tones with a range of intermediate colors. This listing is for one 100g skein in the colorway shown in the picture. The skein is shown before and after re-skeining, so you have a better idea of how the yarn will look knitted/crocheted. I take pictures that represent the color/texture of the item as accurately as I can. Please remember that monitors vary in how they render colors. If you have any questions, I welcome your conversation.
