Waxed Cotton Sculptural "Paper" Bags

This bag, inspired by a paper lunch sack, is made from a Japanese 70% cotton + 30% flax blend. It is finished with beeswax to help protect it against moisture, while giving the bag some rigidity, and a natural sweet smell. The bag is finished with a french seam at the back which houses a galvanized steal wire. This wire helps the bag keep its shape while standing and also allows it to stay closed when rolled.
