This handmade iOS Speaker Docking Station is carved from a Giant Sequoia Redwood from a fallen branch in my friends yard. Here at RockAppleWood, we believe in natural selection when it comes to harvesting our wood. We let nature determine what wood we work with and when. This means you get a one of kind, never to be reproduced again, Docking Station.
We harvest all our wood species from the California Sierra Nevada region from fallen trees, re-claimed, re-purposed, and standing dead trees. Every year storms come through the Sierra Nevada Mountains and blow over trees and break limbs. We give this wood a new life with purpose.
Now back to the Dock.

This wood speaker dock has also been coated with a combination of beeswax, carnauba wax, and orange oil. This enhances the natural beauty and depth of grain in finished woods. This blend prevents further drying of the wood bark surface and deterioration of the colors.
