Please understand that as Sidney is a OOAK handmade item, it is normal for him to have imperfections in shape and color, which, in fact, all adds to his handmade charm and makes him all the more unique to you. Sidney is made of a mixture of different colored polymer clays and has been hardened in the oven, sanded then buffed by hand, but has NOT been varnished because I find his natural finish more appealing to the touch.
Sidney stands about 5.5cm high (2 1/4in) from the ground to the top of his head, is 2cm (7/8in) wide and is about 7.5cm (3in) in length from the end of his nose to the tip of his tail. Though Sidney is a pretty tough little doggie, as with real dogs, his tail and especially his ears remain very fragile so the utmost care must be taken to not drop him or these parts may break or chip! To help keep Sidney in the upright position while hardening in the oven, he was propped on a thin wire which left a small hole on his underside. This hole is not visible unless you lift him up and look under him.
NOTE: Though he looks like one, Sidney is NOT a toy. Please keep him out of the reach of children!
