The wood has been cut into the shape of a butterfly, and a perfectly fitting paper image was applied to the top. The back is painted a solid black and a topcoat has been added to protect your insect from the bumps of everyday wear. It has been was laser cut and the edges left raw, but sanded smooth so you can see the layers of wood on the sides.
COLOR:
Butterfly is a teal blue/green color. It's body is slightly more blue. There are pops of yellow throughout and it is edged in green.
SIZE:
butterfly is 2inches wide(5cm) by 2inch(5cm) tall
example of pinback is shown in last photo. Thick base has been glued securely onto the butterfly.
CARE:
The paper topped butterfly has been sealed with a topcoat for protection, but it is not waterproof. Please keep an eye on your little insect just like you would if he were real, and keep him out of the rain!
