Whte and tan felt, with branches of bittersweet berries hand-embroidered across her belly.
Stitched and embroidered entirely by hand, this sweet creature is a little work of art and would love to fly on over and live with you, keeping you company on your desk, work table or shelf!
The owlet is stuffed with poly fill, with a layer of rice at the base to help it stand more solidly.
If you'd like to hang your owlet on a wall or elsewhere, let me know in "Notes to Seller" when checking out, and I'll gladly add a small hang ring to the back at no charge.

General information about the owlets:
I so enjoy making these wee creatures!
Each owlet takes more than 2 hours to create. Every piece is hand-cut by me- the owlet body, belly, face and feet, using my pattern.
All felt used as embellishment is hand-cut by me, freehand, as I go along. I usually have a good idea of how I want to adorn each owlet, but sitting with my stacks of embroidery floss bins and felt provides lots of creative zig-zagging!
The owlets are hand-stitched together using coordinating embroidery floss. All embroidery (face, embellishments) is done by hand. Though cut from the same pattern and embroidered in the same manner, their faces always seem to be a bit different, giving each its own little personality!
The owlets are stuffed firmly with poly fiberfill, with a small layer of rice at the bottom to give them stability when standing. If your owlet won’t stand up when you receive it, just tap it gently, in the standing position, on a hard surface to redistribute the rice evenly- it can shift a bit during shipping.
Given this rice “stuffing”, the owlets are not suitable for children under the age of 3. Otherwise, they are appropriate for all ages!
If you have any questions, just ask! Custom orders are welcome!
