The Diamond Jubilee is just around the corner and I'm sure in typical British fashion there will be tea, cake and street parties galore.
I have created this Royal Corgi Mug perfect for any royal tea party - celebrating 60 years of the Corgi, by far one of the most bizarre looking dogs I've come across.
I created the corgi in pen and ink, and through the medium of ceramic decal, applied the design to the surface of this rather royal looking bone china mug. The reverse of the mug features St Edward’s Crown, which was last used to crown Queen Elizabeth II on 2 June 1953.
All items are fired in my kiln to 850 degrees, making each design permanent and dishwasher safe.
The bottom of the mug reads:
Queen's Diamond Jubilee, Celebrating 60 years of the Corgi.
