This is a handmade, shiny tail that can be worn in the tub by mermaid lovers size 5-7
It's made with a comfortable spandex material and crafted to be bathtub friendly, so the costume can be worn in the water.
Please note that it is not really intended for use in swimming pools- the fabric will fade more quickly because of the chlorine and it is not intended to "swim" because it isn't a real swim flipper.
The flipper is stiffened with a soft, flexible foam and provides a pocket for the feet, so little ones will not be able to walk around while wearing this outfit.
The spandex is very stretchy and can accommodate several sizes. The top is unfinished and the seam is reinforced so you can trim it shorter if you like and it will not unravel or be weakened in any way.

To care for the tail, hand wash and air dry. I find hanging it fin side up with a piece of plastic tucked between the foam (to keep it from sticking together) works well.
