This purse is made of sunny yellow and gray cotton trimmed in a nutmeg canvas on the outside and the inside is of a cotton fabric trimmed in yellow. The purse is decorated with an off white little bird sitting on a branch that I have drawn and appliqued onto the front flap of the purse.
The bag measures 12 by 121/2" by 5" and contains 6 large pockets on the inside for all those things that generally end up in the bottom of the purse and one large pocket on the back for those things that are needed in a hurry. The back pocket is secured with a snap which makes a total of 7 large pockets. It would also be comfortable for a new mom who needs to carry all those extras. The handle is adjustable and is perfect for when you have your hands full and need an over the chest strap.
The flap on the top of the purse is secured with a magnetic snap and a handmade wooden button is used to decorate the handle of the purse and help in making it adjustable.
There is a key chain that is made with antique brass and handmade buttons which is attached to the purse with a detachable antique brass clasp.
Everything has been double sewn and the stress areas have triple stitching. Interfacing has been placed between the lining and outer fabrics to give the bag a very durable feel.
My purses are all designed, created, and shipped by me. At times, according to the number of orders, I do get behind. Everything is done by hand. I draw my designs and cut each individually. Each purse is unique and an individual creation. I go into the woods and gather fallen wood so that no trees are harmed for the buttons that I create for each purse.
