Antique silver and enamel and necklace from Morocco. Enamel in deep blues, orange, and mossy green wash over the teardrop silver dangling elements that form the frame of the necklace. The centerpiece is a statement piece with a circle with 3 teardrops falling from it. The piece dates back to the 1600s and is showing a little bit of age where the enamel begins to peel away. Do not be fooled by the appearance of age or even of the number itself, because this is a sturdy silver piece, and is meant to be worn. Everyone that has seen the necklace has gasped at its beauty, recalling a day of concubines and women who were decorated head to toe in these elaborate pieces of jewelry.
