I grow these flowers in my garden and they are in bloom from february till the end of spring, I use them i a lovely mixture with my tulips.
I pressed and dried them naturally , and then, set the flowers into the pendant preserving them embed inside resin.
This pendant is 3 cm long and hangs on silverplated brass chain which is 45 cm long, but i can shorten or enlarge it upon request at no extra cost.
This listing is for ONE pendant, the one on the left in pic 2 has been sold, so this listing is for the pendant on the RIGHT in pic number 2.
Please, note that colours may differ depending on monitor settings. These flowers are purple and lilac on periwinkle creamy background.
I have been working with dried flowers for years, since i was a student, making herbariums for my botanical subjects, and then, started handcrafting bookmarks and framed compositions with dried and pressed flowers.
I wanted to join this technique with my jewelry handcrafting, and the "Herbarium collection" is the result. All the flowers and leaves in this jewelry collection are from my garden or have been collected during our country strolls.
You can see more pressed/preserved flowers and leaves jewelry here:
All this long process is my handmade, so, please note that tiny bubbles may occur during the resin curing process and there might be minor imperfections in the flowers too, since they have been naturally dried.
I recommend to store your pressed/preserved flower jewelry in a closed dry place, away from light when you are not wearing it. Keep it away from water and humidity too.
Do not wear your jewelry when swimming or sunbathing for a longer life.
The flowers and leaves have been naturally dried, so they made fade a little with light and time.
