Toronto, 1981. Nash The Slash plays at the Concert Hall on Hallowe'en. It was a Two Gary's production and I know all the dudes working security. Why is this important? Because it meant I got to go backstage and meet the artists!
At that time, a couple of my girlfriends and I were frequent back door attendees at concerts such as this one. We had a game we played. It was called "the get". NO not THAT kind of get! No name dropping or dirty bedtime stories - sorry!
Ours was about collecting celebrity items. Hat's, Tee-shirts, belt buckles and...you guessed it, right? Sunglasses! By what means were these "gets", got? Simple really. Ask!
Ask and you shall (usually but not always) recieve! Thus, I present to you: My "get"...NTS Sunlasses! And, they STILL smell like Pumpkins! (there were a few exploding pumpkins at that show as I can recall!)
