The sterling silver engagement ring features a brilliant yellow sapphire which glows as the center of the 18K yellow gold Sun. Beautiful on its own, the ring reaches its full magnificence when united with the starred sterling silver wedding band. The crescent Moon and the Sun, seen by the ancients as the God and the Goddess, a symbol of the duality of deity, create a powerful image of the equal balance of male and female. And aren't they also a perfect metaphor for the "better or worse, richer or poorer, in sickness and in health" vows?
The engagement ring is made of sterling silver with 18K yellow gold bezel. The gemstone is a 5 mm yellow sapphire (about 1 Ct, eye clean). The wedding band is made of sterling silver, textured and oxidized on the outside to enhance the contrast with the brightly polished stars and the moon. Each ring is 5 mm wide, so together they make 10 mm. The rings are 1.5mm thick.
This set was designed by me (Natalia Moroz) and made masterfully by Sergey Zhiboedov (my husband). The set will be made to order in the size (from 4.5 to 10) specified by the customer. Please allow about 12-14 business days for production.
