He makes guitars and when he bends the sides he always has to cut away a part, I see it and think that it is just too beautiful to treat is as a waste. It's a thin slice of beautiful AAA grade lutherie wood, the one pictured is mahogany, smooth and painted with natural shellac.
Then we attached 12 little copper ring for your earrings and two on the upper side to hang it on the wall.
It's a useful upcycled piece of art :-)
