Bonjour!
Here is a french butter dish made of very resistant glass. I have always seen these around french homes, i'm sure every french person from a few generations ago still has one of these in their fridge! This one is made by Arcoroc, the company who brought us Arcopal (bless them) and is very solid, much like american Pyrex. It is in excellent vintage condition, and butter is not included ;)
Measurements:
6 1/2 inches long and 3 inches high (16,5 cm by 8 cm)
