The perfect go-to dress for any occasion! Made with ease in mind, all you need is a couple yards of fabric and your basic sewing essentials and you are good to go! With adorable knot ties at the shoulders, and a back with a circular opening and tie for extra style, this dress is easy for your daughter to slip on and off. But I didn't stop there, by adding an additional tie at the bottom of both sides of the skirt we completed this look giving it that extra *oomph* factor.
Dress it up by making it in silk or chiffon for a fancier event, or make it more casual in comfortable cotton. Either way, you and your child will love it!
With a fully lined bodice, a serger is not necessary for sewing this dress.
The pattern is offered in 2 different length options - mini (as seen in photos), or Tea Length.
The pattern comes with step by step, easy to follow instructions, as well as loads of photos to help you along your way.
Pattern pieces are for sizes 2 thru 6 years.
Skill Level - this pattern would be for the 'experienced-beginner' and up. Without any zippers or buttons or other items that are normally reserved for a more experienced sewer, I put this at a 'beginner' level. But you will need to be comfortable with sewing and curves, so someone who knows their way around the sewing machine would feel comfortable and at home with this pattern.
