The unique heavy cream textured stock is 80 lbs., 100% recycled made with post-consumer waste content. Tiny flecks and grains are embedded in this retro stock once used by Hallmark greeting cards in the 50’s. The stock is the first recycled paper with flecks made in the U.S. Each print is signed and includes a complimentary bio of the artist, Karen Jean Young.
This is a graphic inspired print of Washington D.C. I kept the color scheme in a patriotic color palette with the eco-friendly paper showing up in the design. The monuments are framed with a classic stamp border to give the print interest. This is the second D.C print in my collection.
