These wristaffs are hand-made by my husband, he makes the length of kumihimo braid on his Marudai and neatly whips the braid above and below the bead to hold it firmly in place. The bead is a traditional spindle whorl made in Ghana, Africa. As these beads are individually handmade, a few may have small blemishes; where these occur they will be clearly shown in the close-up photographs, so please have a good look before you decide to buy.
The wristaff pictured here weighs 27g, the braid is 42.5cm long, made of cotton and the Ghanain bead measures 30mm diameter and 30mm high. The wristaff will be supplied in a small velour pouch and comes with step-by-step instructions for dressing and use.
