This is an original Mangold Stick Horse from Grandbury, TX made in 1963. The toy includes the original company label, ears; eyes; mane; reins, and stick. This fella is in excellent condition with wonderful patina. The plastic is perfect with no holes or tears, the paint is original and excellent, and the stick is slightly worn on the tip reflecting some young buckeroo's exuberant trail riding. The condition is good to very good with a minor repair to reins, and length is 44 inches end to end.
This is no run of the mill nag, the Mangold Stick horse was built to last and look good while doing it, and after 49 years we can assume that the Mangold Company was a complete success. Perfect for decorating, toy collection, or riding the trails.
