Aguayo fabrics are used in South America in the Andean culture (in countries such as Bolivia, Peru, Chile and Argentina) for women to carry children and take products to the market. The fabrics feature coloful stripes often with symbols representing native values.

This is synthetic aguayo fabric made from acrylic fibers. It is soft, thin and easy to cut but sturdy. Perfect for home decor, accessories and other crafts (see ideas for uses in the last picture). The fabric is woven with the pattern on both sides.

This piece measures around a "half meter".
It is 24 inches (60 cm) wide and 58 inches (147 cm) long

Care Instructions:
Hand wash with cold water and air dry.
May be ironed on a low heat setting.

*I did my best to capture the true color of the fabric, but the color may appear slightly different in person due to differences in computer monitor settings.
