This antique ring features 3 sapphire gemstones and 6 diamond accents in an old fashioned (almost art deco style) setting on a very uniquely detailed 14k gold band. The center sapphire stone is round and set in 4 prongs, and measures approx 4 mm diameter. That stone is flanked on both sides by sapphire baguettes, and on the top and bottom are 3 diamonds. The diamonds are very tiny (maybe 1 mm each on my ruler) and are each set in 4 prongs. The overall size of the setting (diamonds and sapphires) from side to side is about 7 mm, and from top to bottom is about 8 mm. The gold band in the front has a very delicate cut-out pattern of scrolls or swirls. The band is solid on the back side.
The gold band is marked on the inside with "14K" and what appears to say "C&J". I had my jeweler verify the stones as sapphires, and the diamonds tested as real. I also had the gold tested and verified that it is 14k.
This ring measures in between a 3 1/2 and 3 3/4. It is very small, and because it is somewhat dainty, it is well suited for a pinky ring.
