** New Sturdier Luxurious Colorgrown Organic fabric **
* I am so excited to have found this wonderful fabric. It provides the sturdiness and thickness of flannel with the wonderful thirst of birdseye, creating a durable “do-it-all” towel! Truly an amazing fabric!
These wonderful cloths are simply luxurious! Best of all, they are made from a single layer of thirsty un-dyed, un-bleached, colorgrown, certified ORGANIC cotton.
Use these as kitchen towels, dinner napkins, lunch box napkins, you name it and they will get the job done. The unique pique raindrop weave makes it perfect to replace all of the jobs of a paper towel. Excellent price means that you will save money and the environment at the same time!
Great alternative to using paper towels with the added bonus of being ORGANIC, UN-BLEACHED and UN-DYED. This means that they are much gentler on the environment, cutting out all of the pesticides and bleach used on regular cotton plants and fabric.
Cut size is approximately 15" x 12". Once washed, they will shrink to approximately 13" x 10". Edges are serged with a sturdy rolled hem and the corners are slightly rounded.
As per the nature of colorgrown cotton, the color may deepen with more washings.
This listing is for 12 un-paper towels.
I also offer these in the following amounts:
Set of 6 for $9.00
Set of 12 for $17.00
Set of 24 for $34.00
Set of 36 for $50.50
Set of 48 for $66.75

******** CARE INSTRUCTIONS ********
Un-bleached fabrics retain the wonderful natural oils of the cotton plant and will need to be pre-washed in HOT water 3-4 times to obtain maximum absorbency. Once you have done that, machine wash and dry as you would any other towel. Initially the fabric will appear to be thin, flat and water repellent. After pre-washing it will fluff up and become thirsty and ready to use. It is really an amazing transformative weave!
As with ANY fabric I NEVER recommend using regular chlorine bleach, as it adversely affects the fibers. Some residue of the hypochlorite remains in the fabric even after washing, which can result in holes or thinning of the fabric over time. *** I recommend using an eco-friendly hydrogen peroxide based bleach. Hydrogen peroxide provides a more gentle bleaching action than chlorine bleaches and is safe to use with the natural cotton fibers of these wipes. You can easily find this eco-friendly bleach in stores. You can also try using vinegar, lemon juice OR borax for stains (DO NOT USE THESE ALL TOGETHER). Line drying out in the sun also helps to “whiten” out stains.
Fabric is made in the USA.
