Best known as a Prague chair, these bentwood chairs are hand-caned. The chairs were designed by Josef Hoffman in 1925, produced by Thonet in Czechoslovakia and imported by Stendig in the 1960s. The iconic Prague chair works universally well with traditional or modern design. The pair is in very good vintage condition with no flaws to the caning, some fading to the wood. Please notice photo of crack in wood on one arm. Marked Stendig, Made in Czechoslovakia.
About 32" tall x 21" wide x 19" deep, 18" seat height
