For this original zoo baby quilt design, I pieced together a combination of a deep espresso brown, dark periwinkle blue, cactus green and then added an adorable ‘Zoo' fabric! The light blue hippos, bright white elephants, aqua giraffe and green frogs are the focus animals in this 'Wild Zoo Menagerie’! There are three panels of the zoo scene on one side, framed with a beautiful complimentary solid. For the other side I pieced together a combination of the solids, and added bright white and a piece of the focus fabric. Using the espresso brown around each panel and the border certainly makes this a standout blanket, creating a beautiful bundle to wrap any baby in! The colors in this blanket are gorgeous—giving it a modern twist!
The back is a coordinating aqua cotton flannel—the perfect snuggle fabric! I rounded the corners and double stitched around the entire blanket for more stability and durability. It is machine quilted in an all over grid pattern.

It has been pre-washed with a fragrance free detergent and tumble dried to give it a soft crinkled look.
Machine or hand wash gentle, air dry or tumble dry low. Mild detergent if needed. Do not bleach. Gently washing and drying your handmade blanket extends its life.
