Starting with a transparent piece of glass, the glass has been hand painted in black paint in a reverse painting technique with images of mustaches. I then mirrored the glass and distressed it in shades of silver, gold, and black to resemble a vintage oxidized mirror. Painted image, mirroring, and distressing is applied to the back of the glass leaving the surface clean and smooth.
The piece has lovely reflective qualities. You can have fun looking into the mirror to see how the mustaches look on your face!
The piece is backed in black felt and is hung with a black satin ribbon.
The frame measures approximately 8 1/2 by 6 1/2 in. (21.6 x 16.5 cm) and the inside mirror is approximately 4 in. by 6 in. (10.2 x 15.2 cm).
