I used a pretty sky blue ripple glass for the lid of this 2x2x1 beveled box. The lid is embellished with a large gold-tone Art Nouveau dragonfly The solder seams have been left their natural silver color and polished to a high shine. The box opens on a full brass hinge, has a mirrored bottom for maximum light reflectance, and has felt pads on the bottom.

I put a lot of time and care into creating each hand-made box. They are hand-cut and assembled by me using the copper foil technique. After the glass is cut and ground, each piece is wrapped in copper foil, soldered together, and cleaned. The embellishments are soldered on then the boxes are hand-polished and cleaned a final time.
These boxes have all been one-of-a-kind. They are pretty enough to stand alone or can house your treasured keepsakes or jewelry. They make wonderful gifts for bridesmaids, Mother's Day, graduation, birthdays, holidays, a thank you, just because and a sweet treat for you, too!
