Short Story Long:
Bokara rugs are in almost every textile enthusiast's collection. The pattern is simple, yet interesting, and it is an easy pattern to spot if you're a novice rug collector. The Bokara design, which is also sometimes referred to as an elephant foot pattern, is very versatile and works with both contemporary and traditional furnishings.
This particular rug is a great weave and in excellent shape. It has this plush, velvety pile which looks greyish in some light and a very light sage green in brighter light. It is on the shorter side for a runner, so it would work pefectly in an apartment or smaller home. The thickness of the rug makes it good for heavy traffic too. As a fan of floating sofas in rooms instead of against walls, I can see this rug making a great statement behind your sofa and in front of your sofa table. Bonus points if your sofa is orange. Yum!
