Five pieces of rare cobalt blue jewelry grade sea glass.
Cobalt blue has been a popular color for glass as far back as ancient Egypt. In the late 1800's most cobalt blue was being used for medicines and poisons. By 1900 it was used mostly for seltzer bottles, vicks, and noxzema.
Finding ratio 1 in 250.
All of my sea glass was found on Washington Olympic Peninsula beaches. My research suggests the sea glass comes from shipwrecks along the Straight of Juan De Fuca and old dump sites.
