The Model 500 telephone series was the standard desk-style domestic telephone set designed by the firm of industrial designer Henry Dreyfuss, the product of several years of research and testing, and introduced in 1949 and issued by the Bell System in North America from late 1949 through to 1984.
Despite some cosmetic flaws (such as a touch of UV yellowing) and dings (see pictures), this phone still looks great and yes, if functions perfectly. The body is stamped ITT while the handset is marked "Northern Electric". While we're all familiar with the ubiquitous curly handset cord, a unique, uncommon feature of this phone is the curly line cord.
The approximate weight of the full set is just over 4-1/2 lbs. or 2 kg, not including packaging, hence the additional shipping costs but please convo us for an accurate shipping quote to your location -- and yes, we do ship internationally.
