Coyote signifies Folly and Wisdom. He is a jokester whose magic doesn’t always work. He is playful and loves to have fun but is always looking for short cuts. Coyote totem reminds us to have fun and not to make things too complicated. Remember to take time to have fun. He often plays the role of the Wise Fool found in many cultures. This coyote looks a bit perplexed. I wonder if one of his tricks has gone wrong.

Coyote in Tattered Cloak is almost 3 inches tall and approximately 1.5 inches wide. Polymer Clay has been hand worked and cured in stages with seed beads, a large natural citrine nugget, a cascade of mica slices and pearl powders as embellishment. The piece has been baked three times for durability. A clear sealant has been applied for protection.
