A lime green leather has been salvaged and given a new life, once again, as a cutout cuff bracelet. The smooth material was the leftover scraps from a furniture recovering job. The edges are tiny scallops, the ends are squared off, and a pattern of extremely small rounded crosses are cutout, giving an airiness to the wide cuff. The precise cutouts were done on my home laser cutter, which was the perfect way to take my love of leather cutouts to the next level with technology. I couldn't dream of getting this level of detail by hand! The design was drafted in AutoCad, a program I'm very familiar with thanks to my design degree and current job as an interior designer. I love it when my worlds collide and I can finally get the level of detail I've been after all this time!
The industrial snap is polished silver and sturdy. On the underside, the cuff is suede, a natural bonus to using high quality material like genuine leather.
