This DELUXE version offers TWO NEW FEATURES: a handy zipper pocket and a fabric covered foam pad insert (not shown). The insert is one half inch thick and fits snugly into the bottom of the bag. It gives the option of extra-extra protection and can be removed when not needed.
We use dense foam padding rather than quilt batting, as the core of our bags. Foam padding is the industry standard in protecting delicate electronics. It has greater shock absorbing properties with the added benefit of allowing a crisp sleek appearance. We don't care for that puffy look and squishy feel of many handmade camera bags. This bag offers a more sophisticated choice.
